Peanut Butter Cocoa Green Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
1 ripe, frozen banana
2 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/2 cup ice
2 cups spinach
Optional Ingredients:
¼ teaspoon xantham gum (Helps thicken the smoothie.  A little goes a long way so be careful when adding!)
2-4 teaspoons stevia (I don’t use any extra sweetener in my smoothie, but some people prefer theirs to be a bit more sweet!)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (In case you want your smoothie to have extra staying power.)
2 tablespoons chocolate chips (For fun!)
Directions
Place all ingredients into a blender except the spinach.  Once smooth, add in spinach and finish blending until combined.  Serve immediately for best results.

Peach Banana Green Smoothie

Ingredients: 1 cup frozen peach slices, 1 frozen banana, 2 cups loosely packed spinach, and 1/2 cup water.
Method: Thaw the frozen fruit in cold water until it’s all just a little mushy. Cut the banana up into smaller pieces so it’ll blend more easily. Put all of the ingredients into a blender, blend to your desired consistency, top with chia seeds, then enjoy!

Other tidbits:
According to a recent research, it has emerged that coconut water is rich in Cytokinins that help regulate growth and division of your skin cells. Also, it has abundant Lauric acid which can help minimize the aging of your skin cells, keep connective tissues strong and balance PH levels. All you need to do is apply coconut water onto your affected skin areas every night before going to bed.
